La Muerte

Tito Díaz / Tita Lozano Peza , Fundación Cultural Roberto Lago, A. C. / El Guiñol de Tito y Tita

Death - a character so much ours - embodies the duality of Life and Death and that is why there is in it that ambiguity that makes it grotesque and ironic. He will breathe life into the other characters, "like when God created the first man." A tragic love story is woven between his bony fingers, where he laughs as if to show that the puppets are toys in his hands while he continues to work his warp ... This work - allegory of life and death - is a ballet inspired by the purest tradition of popular puppet theater in Mexico.
